Bee Retreat 2019

It's already that time of year.  Our annual retreat.  Can hardly believe it!!
This year's theme is Bees.

We were greeted by this cute bee when we arrived at my friends house.

Here I am with my bee antenna on and a sign I brought for the door.

Of course we made a trip to our LNS Stitchville.  We always start off retreat with a trip here followed by lunch at Chili's.

This was my haul from Stitchville.  I treated myself to a Dovo scissors, some charms,
a vintage safety pin, a couple of charts, ball point needles--which I highly recommend, linen for my Fair and Square project and some overdyed threads for a project I have kitted.

Here are the goodies that I gave the girls.  I made three project bags, a cover for a pillow we
have-which I forgot to take a picture of, a scissor lanyard, WDW thread called the bees
knees, and note pad and pencil and a armchair needle nanny.

Here is a close up of the special tag that Kelly made for me.
Thank you Kelly.

We received this cute tray with a coaster, wooden "beehive" scissor holder
and a bee needle minder.
Thank you Jackie.

We received these goodies from Jill--purple peacock.
She made us the cutest sewing bird and floss holder, then we also
got a bee thread counter, a ruler, a bee scissors, a bee zipper pull,
a bee charm, bee ribbon and bee button and card.
Thank you Jill.

I forgot to add this cute shirt to Jill's gifties.

Last but not least we received these goodies from Lori.
The bee yard item in the middle, along with note cards,
an embroidered towel, a bee scissor fob with a scissor, a bee cup and
a couple of other bee trinkets.

We will be retreating until Friday.
Always fun stitching times.
Thanks you stopping by and have a great week.

I'd like to say I will get better with posting my finishes but you know how that goes.

Have a great weekend:)
