Doing a little catch up!!

Wow, where does time go!  I can't believe it has been so long since my last post.

I am going to do a bit of catch up on what I have stitched since July.

 Liberty Lane by Country Cottage Needleworks.

Stitched on 32 count linen I dyed with DMC threads.

 I decided to make this into a drum. 

 I really like drum finishes. 

 A Needle of Silver by Hands on Designs.

This was a kit from The Silver Needle which included 32 count white

linen and DMC threads.

 Strawberry Queen by Pineberry Lane.

This was a kit from the Quaint Ladies Club from Dyeing to Stitch.

Stitched with the supplies from the kit.

 Now I am pretty much up to date on my stitching.

I think I have just one more project to post about as soon as I 

finish it.

A couple of finishes

Thought I should do a post and show a couple of my recent finishes.

Plum Street Samplers - In Friendship stitched on 32 count Patriots Brew with overdyed threads

Started 9-23-17

Finished 9-25-17

This cute little pillow was the pattern we received from Paulette Stewart of Plum Street Samplers at the Dyeing to Stitch retreat last September.  I've had this stitched for a bit and finally FFO'D it.

I used velveteen from Lady Dot Creates on the back.  Boy let me tell you I love that velveteen!!  It was very nice to work with.  Highly recommend it:)

This was the second piece we received from Paulette at retreat.  

I am preparing a frame for this piece and hope to FFO this very soon.

Here is my LHN Farmhouse Christmas Little Red Barn FFO'D.

Turned out rather well.  

 I found this rake at Hobby Lobby and thought it would workout well for all of my ornaments/pillows when they are all done.  We will see how it goes.

 This piece is from Heart in Hand--2017 Collectors Heart. 

It was stitched on 32 count Vintage Country Mocha with DMC threads.

I took a framing class from my LNS this week and I used this piece to frame.  I have framed many of my own pieces but decided to take this class as I feel you can always learn something and I DID!!

So glad I took the class!!
