Hopefully I will get this FFO'd soon.

I am stitching these ornies for my Grands.  Decided to stitch these on Sundays.  Since I have 7
to stitch, I thought I would get a jump on them.  I would like to try to stitch Christmas--ornies or other Christmas things on Sundays.  We will see how that goes!!

Well there is an update for today.
Hope everyone is staying warm and safe today.
It has been snowing most of the day here and travel is not good.
Great day to stay in and stitch or sew, as I did most of the afternoon.

Happy Stitching,

I LOVE these baskets!!!!

Earlier this week I receive this basket.  It was a happy mail day:)
I ordered this basket from 1803ohiofarmbaskets.etsy.com.

This is the bigger basket.  I had ordered the mini basket about a month or so ago.
When I saw that Ann had made this larger version I ordered it right away!!

Here they both are.  The mom and the baby.  I just love them.
Go check out the 1803ohiofarmbaskets etsy shop--I am sure that you NEED one too:))

Thanks for stopping in today.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and lots of stitching!!

WOW!!! I have a post!!!!

First off,  I has been forever since my last post!!!  I am really going to try to do better this year but I think I say that EVERY year!!!  I really do like to keep track of what I have stitched here but I failed miserably last year.  So let's try it again.

Here is my First start and finish of 2018!!

The Primitive Hare's - A Stitcher's Sampler.
It was stitched on a 30 count linen by WDW with DMC thread 3799.
Found this frame at the thrift shop for $7.99 less 25%!!
Started on 1-1-18
Finished on 1-11-18

This is a Lizzie Kate.  It is the February Stamp Flip-it.
I started this series last year for my DIL and this is the last one!
It was stitched on a 28 count mystery linen with DMC threads.
Now on to FFO it.
Started on 1-11-18
Finished on 1-13-18

On a quick note from last year's stitching.  I stitched the ornies on the outside for the grands this year.  I stitched six for them and then I stitched two more for someone who wanted to buy them.  The one in the middle is what I will be stitching this year for the grands.  I need to get going and start them now.  The designer for these is Stitchy Fish Designs.  Both designs are in the JCS magazine.  the outside ones from the 2017 Ornament Issue and the middle one is from the Nov/Dec 2017 issue I believe.

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year and that 2018 will be a great year for everyone.

There is a bit of a catch up.  Let's hope I do better this year.

Thanks for stopping by:)

Here is my collection so far of the Early Americans.

Well there is a bit of what I have been up to.  I still have quite a few more stitches to post about.
I am not very organized either.  These stitches are in no order.  I swear I am going to try to get
better about blogging as I really like to have this as a document of what I have stitched, I can't tell you how many times I come back to this blog and look up what I have done!!!!

We just had our annual retreat this last week.  It was Tuesday thru Friday.  So I will be
blogging about that very soon.
I also entered some stitched pieces in the county fair and will be picking my things up on Sunday
so there will be an update on that too.

Thanks for stopping by,
Hope you are all having a great weekend:)

Happy Stitching, Joan
