I have been meaning to post since I got home from retreat but as usual life has gotten in the way. Here is a picture of everyone who attended.
We all had a great time. I got plenty of stitching done but had a bad food and lack of sleep hangover!!!! Here are some pictures of what I got done, before finishing. I also finished stitching a couple of things for the exchanges I am in, those you will see sometime later.
Since getting home from retreat, the Stitching Squad have been waiting to purchase the new gingher scissors - Bianca. We have not seen them in our local Joann's, so one the the girls--Jackie made arrangements with an online shop "Silent Stitcher" and at our last gathering on Friday night we all received our newest scissors. The shop had each scissor wrapped individually, and we were all excited!!
And here are the coveted Bianca's:
Do you think I have a scissor addiction?
And this is not all of my scissors. The Stitching Squad does have Scissor Anonymous meetings but all they really accomplish is deciding we need more scissors. Just because we like to collect them.
I also wanted to post some of the Biscornu's that I have stitched and finished.
And lastly here is another reason I have not been able to post, my grandson, daughter and son-in-law from Tennessee has been home and we have been spending time with him. Of course he is the cutest baby there is:)
So there is the update for now. Hopefully it won't be so long until the next post.
Have a great Thanksgiving and keep stitching.
A sweet Christmas finish and a visit to France

I'm glad you had fun at your retreat and glad to see a new post from you. Aren't the new Bianca's beautiful!?! I love the picture of your scissors and fobs - I also have a scissor addiction - maybe I should join your Scissors Anonymous!
Hi Joan! So nice to see a post from you. It was fun looking at your retreat picture and trying to figure out how many people I knew!
Wow! I thought I had a lot of scissors, but not by a long shot compare to your collection!
Let me know if the squad will be stitching this weekend!
Sounds like you had a lot of fun at your retreat. I attended my first retreat this fall and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.
I love the picture of your scissor collection. It does look like you have a small "problem", but it's nothing that a little scissor shopping can't cure.
Joan you should check out this blog http://xstitchhappy.blogspot.com/ she posts her own designs for free and a lot of them are little scissor fob patterns. Love your blog and your addiction. Oh and he is the cutest.
What an awesome collection of scissors!! I truly aspire to have that many and more. :D
