Whoo-Hoo.......

A fully finished project for 2014.

With Thy Needle and Thread--Needleworker's Sampler.
This was my new start for 2014.  I am so excited to have it finished.
I really like this piece, now just need to find the perfect place for it.

This piece is a Ladies Prim Society kit from Blackbird Designs called Bittersweet September.
It was kitted as a pillow but I decided to frame it.  I stitched this piece with my maternal grandmother in mind.  So it is dated the year she was born--1911 and I did her initials in the reddish color--the E and the M.

Then I have a couple of ornies that I finished for the 2013 year.
Blackbird Designs ornament Peace from JCS 2013 Magazine.

The last two sleds I had stitched.
From Foxwood Crossings.

Little House Needleworks 2013 Freebie called Seven Pines.
Stitched on 32 count Willow Green with DMC thread.
Started on 12-10-2013
Finished 12-11-2013

Little House Needleworks--Happy Hearts Freebie from 2012.
Stitched on 32 count Cameo Rose with DMC threads.
Homespun Elegance--Your State Holiday Home stitched on
32 count Willow Green with DMC threads.

Since I decided a few years ago to try to stitch an ornament for each of my six children and as of now my five grandchildren I started to stitch my 2014 ornaments.  So the two LHN ornies are for my
two granddaughters.  And the Homespun Elegance one is for my daughter and son-in-law who
live in TN.  So three out of eleven done!!  Really I will have 12 to do since child #4 is going to
have a baby in March.  Which leads to me having to stitch another birth sampler and Christmas stocking since I also started that tradition.
Oh I also have three more Christmas stockings to stitch, one for a daughter and two for my
sons-in-law.

I should have thought about this tradition a bit more:)

Lovely finishes! That BBD is really pretty framed. I have Needleworker's in my stash, too. Great ornament tradition. Happy Weekend!
