Apparently it's my birthday month and a finish....

I have received the following birthday month goodies:

I received this card from Lori earlier in the week.
Here's what was on the inside.

Then today when I got home from work this was in the mail from Jackie. She knew, as did a couple of my other stitching buds that I got a new floss cabinet and now I need to wind all my DMC onto floss cards and get them in my cabinet.

Here is the inside of the card. So as you see my friends have had to put up with my month looooong birthday shenanigans before, and they play right into them. Got to love them:)

Now here is my newest finish. It is the fob that belongs to my new scissors bed. These scissors are one of the first Gingher designer series scissors---Gloriana.
Here they are together.

Thanks again for stopping by and Happy Stitching.

What sweet friends! Before you start winding your floss, let me tell you a lesson I learned. Use plastic bobbins! But get the ones from hobby lobby because their little slit that you hook the floss in on the bottom holds it perfectly. I don't want brand they are just some "off" brand...but they work great. I've recently redone a lot of mine because first I used cardboard. Then they got all broken and nasty. Then I used DMC plastic ones but the place where you slip the end in was too big and it would mean your bobbin unraveled. I found the Hobby Lobby ones...pure bliss! :)
Your bed is CUTE and your fob is Adorable...and your scissors looks very COMFORTABLE :)
Happy Birthday Month!

Joan: did they mention to you at Stitchville that the Blackbird Design girls are doing a retreat week-end in Minnesota in April?
Alma and Barb are positively wonderful people.
I see you bought a Blackbird Design Pattern, they are my favorite.
Your work is so beautiful and every pair of scissors need a bed to rest in because of all the work thay do.
Happy Birthday.
I hope you continue to recieve many more gifts.
If i knew your address I would also send you a birthday gift.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Catherine
