Dyeing to Stitch!!!!

It's been a long time since I have posted.  With that being said I have been busy stitching and sewing,  while I have taken pictures of what I have been up to I do not have access to them right now.  So what I am going to post about is an adventure that I am on.

Last summer I met another stitcher from Facebook and we developed a friendship over the last few months.  So my new friend Stacy invited me to spend sometime with her at her beach house in The Outer Banks.  After a little thought I said why not and I booked a flight and off I went last Wednesday.

Now our children had concerns about us meeting up.  They were afraid that one of us could be an ax murderer since we had never met in person.  Alas we both have been safe!!!!

I flew into Norfolk and met Stacy at the airport and our adventures began!!!

Our first stop was Dyeing to Stitch.  Here I am out in front of the shop!  I could hardly believe where I was.

So this adventure started Wednesday and I will be posting more about it.  Just let me tell you I am having a great time.  It has been fun getting to know Stacy and we have so much in common it's scary!!!!

Stay tuned for more updates:)

What a neat story! (I actually had the thought, "& if one of them IS an ax murderer, the name of the Lifetime network movie will, indeed be, "Dyeing to Stitch"!

Joan: What a fun time you must have had, you look so cute in front of the Dying to Stitch storefront.
I have had the pleasure of meeting a fellow blogger, she came from North Carolina, it is always fun to meet new people.
See you in may at retreat.
