Update with pictures.....

Ok, I got my pictures to upload. So here is what I wanted to post earlier today.

Here is a picture of our daughter Karissa who turned 32 today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARISSA!!! Can't believe I have children that old:) She is child number 2. As I said in my earlier post you should check out her blog if for nothing else but some chuckles.
Trippin' My Trigger.

Now here is my BBD Sewing Tray. Now this was not my idea, I just did what Alma and Barb did with this design. I do love how it turned out. I have to say a BIG thank you to my DH since he put the handles on for me. He also helped my with the back.

This is the back of the tray. I decided to put cork on the back. It worked out really well.

The next project is from this BBD book. I had stitched the sampler in this book earlier and I wanted to also make the treasure box.

Here is the treasure box and a pincushion I made.

A view of the inside of the box. I finished this project about a week ago and forgot to post it. Another project I am pretty happy with.

I have had this pattern for quite sometime and decided I would get it stitched up. This is LHN's--The Busy Needle. I stitched it on 36 count coffee dyed/baked linen and used CC and DMC threads. I made it into a needle pillow. Also added some rick rack, it was my first time sewing it between the linen and the fabric. Was a bit tricky but turned out cute:)

Put a pocket on the back to hold some needles.

Also stitched this little baby up a couple of weeks ago. It is LaDDa's--Tis Red from the 2010 JCS ornament issue. It was stitched on 28 count cream with CC--Cupid. I have wanted to stitch this up for sometime now.

Just the back of the pillow. I also dyed the chenille.

Well there you have it. I have been pretty busy lately. I have also been doing some quilting in between my stitching. Hopefully I will be posting the fruits of my labor on that later.

Can't believe I have posted so much lately. Not like me:)

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

You have been SO busy! Great projects, and a lovely daughter! I saw on LHN blog that the Busy Needle is "not available for distribution" - pooh! Wonder why they do that when people still want them? Would you loan it?

Gorgeous picture of your daughter, she's so pretty :-). Love your BBD tray, the cork is a great idea. I was thinking of using a piece of wool.
